I hope you are all doing well!! My novel was requested for review by an Agent, Yeah!! So I am hoping this will be the one, keeping my fingers crossed!!! I have some free time, so I am working on some more paintings and hope to get them up soon.

1:42pm: Hi Everyone!

Yes, I am truly back!! I know, I know, my "be back in two weeks" have turned into months! Egads!! What an adventure life has taken me on!! Right after my last posting a Top Notch New York agent contacted me and was considering my novel. Needless to say it was very exciting!!! I had some extensive outlining to do for him to review. My novel is an epic so it was a lot of work. The end result?? Very exciting, however, close but no Cigar! Now my novel is off to another agency and I am waiting to hear.

Anyway back at the hollow paintings have been bursting their way on to canvas and paper. I ve got a stack here just waiting for their finishing touches. So here is the first. You will laugh as it reveals what I have been doing this last year. Funny how it shows up in your art!! I have missed you all very very much!!!  I am so glad to be finally back at my art table painting to music and watching the wonderful clouds roll in off the mountains around our sweet little Shakespearean Shire here is southern Oregon.

10:39pm: HI everyone,

I know it has been a long time and I have missed you all soooooooo!!! Much has happened over the past year. However, I am returning and will be posting paintings once again. I am working on one now that should be finished this week.

So what have I been doing??? Well, I have been doing some painting. I painted a mural for an office and recently finished a commissioned piece, but for the most part I have been busy doing a rewrite of an epic novel I wrote a few years back. A publisher had an interest in seeing it so I pulled it out, dusted it off and reworked 752 pages. Lucky for me the person who originally edited it lives here, where I recently moved, and is making sure all the i(s) are dotted and t(s) are crossed for me. Though it was not what the interested publisher was looking for (they wanted something more biographical, mine is an adventure fictional novel) it will now be ready to send out again to other publishers, or I may self-publish it, as I am looking to do some self-publishing of some other projects I am working on.

I am looking forward to reconnecting with you all. This last week I have been glancing through lj it looks like everyone is doing great with their art!!! That is so wonderful!!

6:20pm: Yummy!! Some yummy pumpkin pie is baking in the oven right now and smelling soooooooo good!!! I am still painting! I promise!!:) When I take painting breaks, I am working on some really charming window treatments for two windows, they are turning out so unique, and will make the room look so very hobbity!! When I get them all done I will post some pictures!! Now for some pie :)

7:37pm: HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! EVERYONE!!

The Rune and I just wanted to say "HI" as we are off to conjure up a little Magick for this Halloween night!!!


This town is Halloween Town for sure!!! The evening starts off with a little hobgoblin parade downtown which begins in the late afternoon. They close off the main street so all the children can parade in their costumes!! The whole village is buzzing with costumed young and old alike, walking around the streets. This afternoon I saw adults walking the streets as Santa, witches, and some beautiful Victorian gothic women, along with some super heros, etc., etc. The parties began several days ago. There are so many talented people living here. Friday night I attended a party where several people preformed it was wonderful!!

Last night the pumpkin farm had a Halloween party, and the fence going clear down the road was lined with “Jack O lanterns” on all the posts!! Tonight after all the little hobgoblin tricker treaters, have their bags full of goodies, the Village downtown will be full of people mulling around and going to all the evening event places. Even some of the voting canvassers were dressed in costume!! I have to say it must have been a bit strange having a gorilla with a voting message show up at the door!!

I love Halloween!! I like to decorate my window like a store front, one year it was a haunted castle, and one year a deep woods with spirits, a witch and her cauldron. I designed a haunted house for a hotel in our other town one year, that was great fun!! I also like to dress up in my witch's hat and long dress and stay in character for the tricker treaters at the door.

I hope you are all having a good time whether you are out and about, or are nice and cozy at home!!

Happy Halloween!! And don’t forget Sanhain is the start of the New Year Celebrations through Nov 4,th, the veil between worlds is the thinnest for messages sent back and forth. It is also the beginning of the short days of reflection, which will bring us all through the tunnel of winter, out into the wonderful promise of a New Spring, new growth, and new visions!
This is a good time for rest, and being good to yourself, reflection, and thanksgiving!!

9:00pm: Its the 50% off day!!!!
Oh Yeah!! Today was such a great day!!! I went out and got the dress form I had been wanting. I didn't have to order it because someone had ordered the wrong size and didn't pick it up, and it was my size just waiting there for me!!! And it was 50% off!!!! I was not even expecting that!! Then I went to pick up some clay for making dolls and it was 50% off!!!! What Kind of day is this??? I should of went and bought a house it probably would have been 50% off too!!! LOL I am happy happy happy :)

7:56am: I wish you all happyness, love, and peace today! I am still painting. It is going a little slow, as I have been spending many hours a day canvassing our town here in America urging everyone to Vote this year. It is sooo important, remember to just take out some time to study up and then Let "Your Voice" be heard!!! It really dose count! Your voice is really important to us all, please don't think that you don't count, because you do!! Love You All!!!

5:07pm: Thinking Thinking, hmmmmmmmm, what to paint???

2:01pm: I have sooooo much to do!! As soon as I get everything around here in order!! eeeeeeeeek!! I will need to clean up my art info sites as well!! My Website hit the dust a few months ago. I had not even finished getting it all put up when the server just up and dissapeared!!! No word!! Just Gone!!! I paid for a year, I don't think I even got 6 months *sigh.* I will have to find a new server and start from scratch!! This year is full of new beginnnings!! Anyway I just wanted to say HI and give a little progress report I should be painting by Monday!!! Peace and Love to YOU All Anna ;)

9:50am: HI!! Just a quick update!!
Well, we brought the last load over Monday, I am still sorting and unpacking.
I received some supplies for the unique shop I want to open here, the details are still hush hush. I am working on my business plan this week, as a meeting with an investor may be happening at the end of the week. As soon as I get settled in I will be working on some more art. This has been quite a move!! Rune loves it here he is in cat heaven!!!

Last week-end on our way to get the last load we went up the Rogue River to a beautiful and sacred place in Shady Cove. At the cabin where we stayed there was a beautiful enchanting walk, through multi colored leaves falling from the Oak trees, down to a creek like part of the river, and there near the bridge, were huge salmon spawning!!! (I have got to start bringing my camera with me!!!) They had come so very far to recreate life again, it was so sacred and beautiful there. You could feel the fairy life all around you!!! Well, I love you All I'll be updating agian real soon!!!
